Work The first two terms of Franklin D. Roosevelt’s presidency focused on bringing the nation out of the depression. Within the first hundred days of his presidency, FDR immediately planned a program called the New Deal to get Americans jobs so they can begin to contribute money to the economy and stimulate it again (â€Å"Franklin D. Additionally, the Supreme Court ruled many of the New Deal Acts as unconstitutional, preventing him from passing more; however his action had already helped the country survive the worst (â€Å"Franklin D. Roosevelt (1882-1945)†). The latter two terms of Roosevelt’s presidency dealt with the challenges of World War II, and his leadership led the country to victory. As Germany and Japan grew in power, FDR decided to run for a third term as he believed that he was the only one that â€Å"had the experience and skills to lead America in such trying times† (â€Å"Franklin D.
